So instead of introducing a new type of technology, we decided to focus on helping organizations to remove the three roadblocks.
1. More than ever, success in a digitally enabled world depends ona strong working relationship between the CEO and CIO (and business and technology leaders at every level of the organization). If this relationship doesn't work, or if the CIO is too technical and the CEO too intent on innovation over manageability, the organization will find itself lagging behind, or unable to deliver on its promises.
2. The data needed to make informed decisions is fragmented and often inaccurate or incomplete. Executives rely on expensive projects to centralize and analyze data. By the time it’s ready for decision-making it’s weeks or months old. It’s like driving down a freeway, and only looking in the rear-view mirror.
3. No matter what emerging technology is used, existing Cybersecurity approaches are not adequate to prepare the organization to manage the risks of "going digital". Decisions that seem solid can end up exposing the organization to unknown risks and new types of cyber-crime.
